4 May 2020: Blizzard conditions from Friday blanketed Mt Buller over the weekend with deep snow usually not seen outside July or August.
The snow was measured at an average depth of 56cms in the village on Saturday morning, transforming the resort into a mid-winter picture.
The current travel restrictions prevent non-essential travel to the resort however the local crew, aided by keen-eyed residents, captured the extraordinary scenes and shared on mainstream and social media across the weekend to bring a taste of the early snow to couch-bound snow lovers all over the country.
