SKI SERVICING/TUNING TECHNICIAN

The Grimus Ski Centre located on mountain at Hotel Pension Grimus provides rental of ski/snowboard equipment and ski clothing, sales of skis, custom boot fitting, an accessory boutique and a Wintersteiger tuning/servicing section.

SKI SERVICING/TUNING TECHNICIAN

We are seeking an experienced ski/snowboard technician for our Wintersteiger Service Centre. 

Job Description

• Excellent customer service skills
• Experienced in hand tuning skis and snowboards
• Familiar with infra-red waxing
• Experienced in specialised race tuning including customized ski structures & hand edging
• Assist clients in assessing personal ski equipment for repairs and tuning
• Experience in the use of the Wintersteiger Mercury LSDP robotic machine or similar
• Technical fitting of rental boots, skis & snowboards
• Available from late May/early June until mid to end September (depending on snow conditions).
• Work a 6 day week on a rotating roster with some split shifts. 
• Have a valid Working Holiday Visa for Australia
• Foreign nationals must hold a valid Australian Working Holiday Visa subclass 417 or 462
