Marketing & Membership Coordinator


The Ski Club of Victoria has a rare and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Marketing and Membership Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent organisational and administrative skills, and the ability to work within a small team.


This exciting opportunity would be best suited to someone who is passionate about skiing and snowboarding and wants to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


As our Marketing and Membership Coordinator, you’ll be a smart and effective communicator, with creative operational and administrative flair. Your 'can do' attitude combined with an ability to communicate will assist in further developing our already excellent member relationships.


About You

  • Experience in marketing and communications, with a focus on delivering successful end-to-end marketing campaigns
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software and tools such as Adobe, Canva, Anyword, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, Shopify
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and brand aesthetics
  • The ability to build relationships with stakeholders and finally
  • A great attitude



Key Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage our online presence through website and socials
  • Execute and deliver our membership strategy
  • Manage our Membership Database, conduct member inductions, plan and execute member events where required
  • Developing a range of communications including EDM's, newsletters, organisational updates, collateral, calendars of events, web copy, key messages, social media content and presentations.
  • Assist in developing and executing our marketing strategy


This is a permanent part-time role based on 15-20 hours per week. There are opportunities for some flexible/hybrid working arrangements in the summer months, however the role is based on Mount Buller throughout the winter months.
