ABOUT US

Pats Italian Restaurant and Bar is an icon establishment situated in the heart of Mt Buller Village. We are known for our mouth-watering a la carte menu, pizzas, fun atmosphere and our exceptional customer service. We make the majority of our dishes in-house with high-quality produce (including our pizza dough and pasta which is made each day) and we ensure that everything is as fresh as you can get!

THE ROLE

We are looking for restaurant chefs (all levels) that can perform under pressure, in a fast pace environment and can read orders across dockets. We operate in accordance with Vic Class 2 food safety program. You will be busy during the peak snow season; it is full-on and busy most of the time, however, we do have quieter times and this is the perfect opportunity for you to reward yourself for your hard work and make use of the facilities the resort has on offer.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Appropriate Cooking Certificate
• Strong experience in restaurant kitchens
• Experience cooking Italian and Australian cuisine
• Attention to detail
• Good time management
• Ability to work under pressure at a fast pace
• Ability to work in a team and take instruction
• great communication skills
• Being disciplined in pans, grill and larder as well as reading across/calling dockets is essential for this role.
