2024 King's Birthday Weekend

Welcome the official launch of the 2024 snow season this King's Birthday long weekend with a 3-day weekend of alpine festivities and fun.

Mt Buller offers guaranteed skiing from Saturday 8th of June, so it's time to plan your visit and join us in the village and on the slopes.

SATURDAY 8TH JUNE

Bourke Street

8:30am First chair @ Bourke Street Express.

Be among the first to make some turns for the season and we'll see you at the front of the line for first chair for 2024!  You might just be rubbing shoulders with Winter Olympians, locals and legends as we celebrate the start of season together.  

Village Square & Stage

• 12pm - 1pm Village Stage - Warren Smith on guitar
• 12pm - 4pm Face Painting 
• 1pm - 3pm  Free toasted marshmallows around the fire pits
• 1:30pm - 2:30pm Village Stage - Warren Smith on guitar

3:00pm - 3:45pm Village Stage - Animals of the Magical Mountain family show featuring Stewie Koala and the Forest gang!

3.45pm – 4.15pm   Opening of the 2024 snow season
Season to be officially opened by the Hon. Steve Dimopoulos, Minister for Tourism, Sport, Major Events, Environment and Outdoor Recreation.

4.15pm – 4.30pm 100 years of ski fashion.
Take a slide back in time as we look at the fashion that turned heads on the slopes.

4:30pm - 5pm Village Stage - DJ Piero

5pm - 5:45pm Village Stage - Nite Theory

5:45pm - 6pm FIREWORKS!  Gather in the village for a sky filled with fire and delight as we start the season with a BANG

6pm - 7pm Village Stage - Jake Webb

Alpine Central

12pm - 5pm AirZone - 1 hour long sessions on Level 2 Alpine Central - bounce, climb and dive deep into the massive foam pit!

12pm - 3pm Laser Biathalon - Buller Biathalon is hosting a come-and-try laser biathalon session

SUNDAY 9TH JUNE

Village Square & Stage

2pm - 3pm Village Stage - Warren Smith on guitar

Alpine Central

11am - 12pm Cinema - meet Jane Bunn and ask her all your snow and weather forecasting questions.

•  Understand how Jane's Weather and Mt Buller are working together to improve snow forecasts

• Learn how to better read and interpret forecasts for the snow

• Ask questions from Australia's leading meteorology communicator - technical or basic!

• Capacity is limited - first in best dressed
