Check out the event calendar for all the updates on what you can come and enjoy this 'green season', or simply chill out and take in the serenity of quiet time amongst the beautiful wild flowers and stunning views.
We will be progressively opening the trails for your walking, running and riding adventures. Please follow all signage directions in the meantime while our team are busy clearing fallen branches, completing track repairs and making sure the trails are safe and ready for a busy summer!
Work is about to start on our new 100 megalitre water storage dam on the upper mountain. This important development will secure our supply of water for drinking and emergency fire fighting over summer, while also delivering a massive boost to our snowmaking in time for the 2020 snow season. You can watch the work unfold over summer right here on the live cam. The location of these works means that from October 2019 there will be no vehicle access to the summit carpark or walking access via the northern loop of the Summit Nature Walk from Spurs. Walkers can still access the amazing views from the summit via the southern side of the Summit Nature Loop.
The Mt Buller Road is open all the way up to the Mt Buller village from the afternoon of 6 October, 2019.
Mt Stirling is a fabulous place to visit over summer with walking, biking, horse riding, camping, 4-wheel driving, Craig’s Hut and stunning views all accessible via the Mt Stirling Road from Mirimbah. Roads will be progressively opened as conditions allow, and you check which roads are open here.
