The resort walking and bike trails are open and in superb condition following a major $1.25m overhaul that is getting rave reviews from the mountain biking community. The recent Victorian Downhill Series booked out in record time and weekends are buzzing in the village with shuttles and bike clinics in full swing.

This highlight of the summer ride calendar is attracting strong interest with riders and their tribe who are looking forward to an extended weekend of riding, and relaxing, on the mountain. The packed schedule includes a 2-day junior development program to build confidence in young riders, competition for the more serious MTB crew and no shortage of heart-stopping gravity action guaranteed for spectators. The event organisers Rocky Trail Entertainment explain, it’s all about ‘letting the trails do the talking’ and with the premiere of the Australian MTB Film Festival there will be plenty to see and do off the trails too.
All events may be subject to change and checking listings on the Mt Buller website is recommended, as is booking accommodation and checking food and beverage offerings.
