Cattleman's Cafe is a popular and versatile venue in the heart of the village square and at the base of the Bourke St lift. Starting in the morning as a busy coffee spot to the ideal place for that afternoon session when the last lift closes.

An exciting opportunity has opened up for experienced, energetic and detail orientated Team Leaders to help lead our team at Cattleman's Cafe for the 2025 Winter season. We are looking for people that know how to meet targets while showcasing a dedication to delivering fun and friendly customer service. 

The Role 

• Ensuring venue policies, procedures and standards are current, effective and clearly communicated
• Abiity to manage a high turover venue that is licenced for 200 patrons.
• Daily development and execution of operational procedures
• Attract, lead, and manage a diverse FOH team, showcasing a proactive attitude and excellent team culture
• Strong product knowledge with the ability to coach your team for guaranteed results
• Ability to keep calm under pressure

About You

• Hands on approach to everything you do, no job is too small
• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role.
• Have a current RSA certificate.
• A genuine desire to learn and grow
• Strong people management and communication skills
• Able to demonstrate the ability to resolve issues calmly while working under pressure
• Young at heart, eager, and ready to be the face of the venue
• Passion and experience with quality coffee, food and wine
• A trained eye for detail, coupled with big picture thinking
• Honesty, integrity, persistence & determination
• Barista and Cocktail experience a bonus

 This role is hands on, leading the team under senior management instruction. Leading by example with incredible customer service, amazing food and beverage knowledge and a positive can-do attitude.
