Job Description: As Sous Chef, you will assist in managing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and overseeing a talented team of kitchen staff. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation, manage kitchen inventory, and ensure all health and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef.
• Supervise, train, and mentor kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Help create, plan, and execute menu items.
• Monitor food quality and ensure consistency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
• Oversee food prep, portion control, and waste management.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen management role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for culinary excellence and creativity.
• Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
