Alpine  High  Performance  Gymnasium  Receptionist 

We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our high-performing team and commence work in June through until the conclusion of the 2025 winter season (mid-September → beginning of October pending snow levels)

The person we are seeking should ideally have experience as a receptionist, but it's not a necessity, and training can be provided prior to the commencement of the season. The candidate should be available to work approximately 20-38 hours per week.

Experience with Cliniko practice management software and/or Square Up is ideal, but not essential (training will be provided).

About the Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our high performing team and commence work in June through until the conclusion of the 2025 winter season (mid September → beginning of October pending snow levels)

You will be responsible for:

• Handling of incoming phone calls
• Delivery of premium customer service
• Enhancing the image of the front reception with professionalism
• Booking of Physiotherapy client appointments and Personal Training consultations.
• Receipting of private billings with Hicaps (private health payment machine) and Square Up eftpos machine.

Skills and Experience:

• Have personal accreditations and registrations to work in Australia
• Time managment skills and ability to adapt to rostering changes that are likely to occur throughout the season
• Ambulance insurance (in case of accident out on slopes, no ambulance cover can mean a $15,000 helicopter fee)

About Us:

The Alpine High Performance Centre is Australia’s peak high performance gymnasium. We operate within the Mount Buller Alpine resort. We have hundreds of gym members who attend our facility who look to continue their active lifestyles in addition to snow sports related activities in winter and hiking and mountain biking related activities in summer. We are regularly advancing our facility and our equipment to ensure we are up to current fitness standards. 

We have a strong association and relationship with the Olympic Winter Institute of Australia (OWIA). We work with OWIA to ensure that our Winter Olympians are able to train in our facility in a way that suits their training program and assists them during their olympic cycle, and perform at their best at the Winter Olympics.
