We are currently seeking an experienced Casual, Part-Time, or Full-Time Cinema Crew Member to join our high performing team and commence work in June through until the conclusion of the 2024 winter season (mid-September → beginning of October pending snow levels) Films are screened in the evenings throughout the winter season (5:30 pm-10:30 pm): meaning plenty of time for skiing/snowboarding during the day

Skills and Experience:
Have personal accreditations and registrations to work in Australia
Time management skills and ability to adapt to rostering changes that are likely to occur
throughout the season
Ambulance insurance (in case of an accident out on slopes, no ambulance cover can mean a
$15,000 helicopter fee)

General responsibilities for all positions include, but are not limited to:
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
• Answer customer questions courteously and accurately or quickly direct them to the
appropriate resource.
• Work effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Ability to effectively multitask as needed, including but not limited to greeting customers,
handling customer ticket purchases & requests, checking IDs, directing customers and
answering customer questions.
• Complete transactions by greeting each customer, identifying the customer's request, and
operating point-of-sale terminals (performed via Ipad and Square-Up app
• Ensure the security of all cash, receipts and tickets.
• Enforce the movie ratings system courteously and effectively.
• Distribute, ensure proper working order of, and understand how to operate Cinema Projector
Equipment (training will be provided prior to employment).
• Clean and maintain the exterior and interior areas of the theatre including auditoriums,
restrooms, and ticket counter reception.
• Perform nightly custodial duties as necessary, including but not limited to vacuuming,
mopping, seat-cleaning, sanitising restroom fixtures, etc.
• Control access to the theatre.
• Frequently monitor auditoriums for picture and sound quality, temperature, lighting levels,
audience behaviour, and film piracy.
• Perform daily stocking and maintenance duties.
• Ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Follow all procedures to ensure a safe work environment, as well as the safety of our guests.
• Follow instructions regarding the safe use of all chemicals/cleaning materials.
• Uphold Mount Buller Cinema's Business Practice Standards.
• Maintain regular personal attendance for all scheduled shifts.
• Assist with other Crew functions and perform other duties as directed.
