About Us: Join the legacy! The Arlberg House, steeped in history since 1958, is seeking a highly motivated and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. With over 65 rooms and four distinct Food and Beverage areas, including room service, The Arlberg House offers a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise. Role Overview: As the Head Chef, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all kitchen and dining areas during the 7-month period from March to October, with the potential for full-time employment year-round. You will be responsible for supervising and administering all phases of the kitchen operation, working closely with the administration team to enhance functions and corporate events throughout the seasons.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and administer all phases of kitchen operations.
• Manage food and labor costs effectively.
• Drive revenue through strategic initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic workplace.
• Develop and cost menus with a focus on high-quality food presentation.
• Train and develop the kitchen team.
• Collaborate with the administration team for seasonal events.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar Head Chef position
• Strong financial acumen to manage food and labor costs.
• Proven ability to drive revenue and enhance profitability.
• Exceptional leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Passion for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
